Everyday Stresses

I've spent my evening on the phone with my dang student loans.  They switched to a new system which apparently inadvertently raised my payment by $444.  That's over twice what I pay on my poor person payment plan... and isn't happening.  I'm on the automatic debit plan, which they can't stop at this point, and all the options they give me to fix the situation screw me over royally.

But that brings me to this thought... It is so hard to keep my cool while we're dealing with infertility.  Every little thing that happens at work or at home feels like the proverbial straw.  I either want to totally flip out and pitch a hissy or crawl into bed and wake up when this is all over.  Mr. Right keeps reminding me that this could be a long road, so I'd better figure out how to deal with regular old stress now.  I know he's right, but just knowing that he's right makes me want to punch him in the face a little bit.

Even though I love him.

  1. Sadly, he's right...married since Sept '09 and I swear to Gd everytime I go to a different doctor, there is a new "fun" diagnosis. On the up-side: we've had a ton of time to get to know each other even better and through a lot of different circumstances. When we finally have kids, we are going to be a UNITED FRONT against anything they pull! ;) Happy ICLW

  2. I do try to remind myself of what a super strong foundation we must be building. Silver lining and all. But he's gunna read your comment and all he's going to see is "he's right" and I'm going to hear about how he's always right all weekend! :)

  3. My husband tells me the same thing, and I know he's right because we have such a long road ahead of us, but all I really want to do is stamp around the house like a kid and he's totally harshing it.
