I heard this on the way to church yesterday and it made me break down in tears and miss my exit.  Way to be late to church on an IUI week!  Anywho, whatever your religious leanings, I think this speaks to anyone who has struggled with faith... and I think that's most of us.

Been awhile since I did a Music Monday! 

As a singer, one of the things I like to daydream about is singing a lullaby to my baby.  Just typing about it makes me get a little stuck-in-the-throat feeling.  This is one of the pieces that will most certainly be at the top of the list.  My choir sang it a few years ago and it's stuck with me.  This isn't my choir, but they're about as good as we are ;)

Music Mondays

I am a vocalist and find a lot of peace in music.  Since I have rehearsals on Mondays, I thought it would be nice for y'all to share in the peace I have when I'm immersed in music on Monday nights.  The piece below is one that always makes me feel calm and... enveloped for lack of a better word.  If the religious imagery bothers you, just close your eyes and listen (frankly I find it distracting, but it's YouTube - what can you do?).  I adore this arrangement and no one sings it like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.  I promise it will make you feel lovely.
