I'm an acronym fan.  Here's a list of some you might see me use.  They're commonly used in the infertility/TTC community and I've become addicted to using them... mostly because I'm lazy.

2WW/TWW–two week wait (time from ovulation until period or pregnancy test)
AF: Aunt Flo (period)
AFC: Antral Follicle Count
AMH: Anti-Mullarian Hormone (marker of ovarian reserve)
ART: Assisted Reproductive Technologies
BBT: Basal Body Temperature
BCP: Birth Control Pill
BD: Baby Dance (AKA sex - I don't really use this one because I think it's ridiculously immature, but just in case...)
BFN: Big Fat Negative
BFP: Big Fat Positive
BIL: Brother-in-law
B/W: Blood Work
CD: Cycle Day
CM: Cervical Mucous
COH: Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation
DPO: Days Past Ovulation
DPT: Days Post Transfer
Dx: Diagnosis
E2: Estrogen/Estradiol Level
Endo: Endometriosis
ER: Egg Retrieval
ET: Embryo Transfer
EWCM: Egg White Cervical Mucous
FET: Frozen Embryo Transfer
FIL: Father-in-law
FSH: Follicle Stimulating Hormone
GnRH: Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone
hCG: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin
HPT: Home Pregnancy Test
HSG: Hysterosalpingogram
ICSI: Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection

Lap: Laparoscopy
LH: Luteinizing Hormone
LP: Luteal Phase (phase you're in during the 2ww)
LPD: Luteal Phase Defect
MF: Male Factor
MIL: Mother-in-law
O: Ovulate
OB/GYN: Obstetrician/gynecologist
OHSS: Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome
OPK: Oulation Predictor Kit
P4: Progesterone
PCOS: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
PGD: Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis
PIO: Progesterone In Oil.  Big ass needle, shot in the booty.
POAS: Pee on a Stick (so much nicer to use the acronym, yes?)
POF: Premature Ovarian Failure
PUPO: Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise
RE: Reproductive Endocrinologist
Rx: Prescription
SA: Semen Analysis
SHG: Sonohysterogram
SIL: Sister-in-law
Temp: Taking BBT
