Sex and infertility are hard. We all know this. We all know it's complicated. When you have endometriosis, it also hurts. So here you are, having painful sex, but pretending that you aren't because a) you've already spent a better part of a decade believing that you are over reacting about your pelvic pain and b) don't want your husband to feel bad about your grimacing.
Then a doctor comes along and recommends a lap.
It's a Jasmine moment. "A whole new world....."
On top of the newly discovered sex life, we brought this hideous brown stained lounge chair down from the crap room/would be future nursery for me to recuperate on post surgery. Our couches are not comfortable or lounge worthy. Six weeks later and the crappy chair still in the living room. Why is that? Because it's a perfect snuggle depth! I must admit, my slacking in the commenting department has mostly been because I'm snuggling with my husband rather than hanging out on the laptop.
So there you go. Not only did the lap save my sex life, it managed to get me a snuggle couch.
