As The Uterus Turns... Part 1
So much for yesterday's optimism! I got a call in the late afternoon that my E2 had only risen to 1300. So we upped the dosage again and I had another blood draw today. My estrogen isn't matching what's going on in my ovaries. This is all just nuts and I don't know what to think anymore. It's med day 10 for crap's sake! Come on, body! We know you suck, but can you just give me an effing break!?!?

My e2 NEVER rose to "normal" levels despite all kinds of ovarian activity. We went ahead with the retrieval and pulled out 27 eggs, 21 of which fertilized normally. I ended up with 6 high quality blastocysts to freeze. Just because your numbers are not text book does not necessarily mean no eggs! I'm sending you lots of good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you on the meds. I have an appt today where I'll find out more, but they estimated my retrieval at the end of this week. I'll just leave you with what all the commenters have told me. Faster is not better.

Oh boy do I remember being so frustrated over my E2 levels! I still don't know why I had such issues with them but I am hoping for a good number of eggs for you!
